Cake Angel
Every child’s birthday is a reminder of the day the Lord said, “The world is ready for you.” It’s a day that deserves joy, recognition, and celebration. Yet many children in our community quietly let their birthdays pass by without a cake, a candle, or the simple moment of feeling special. At Saving Seats, we believe no child should miss out on that blessing.
Our Cake Angel Program was created to reach those little ones whose needs are often unseen. We partner with the caring adults who walk beside them daily...teachers, Sunday school leaders, guardian ad litems, social workers, youth pastors, and community mentors. These voices help us identify children who would be so excited by a birthday surprise.
At this time, Cake Angels is able to bless children in Baker, Bradford, and Union County only but we are prayerfully planning to expand our reach in 2026.

How it Works
Nominate a Child
Teachers, Sunday school leaders, social workers, guardian ad litems, and community mentors can nominate a child who may not otherwise receive a birthday cake. Just fill out the short form and share their story.
We Match Them With a Cake Angel
Once a nomination is received, Saving Seats pairs the child with a caring Cake Angel — a volunteer who sponsors a birthday cake and makes sure that child feels loved, seen, and valued on their special day.
Delivering Joy
We coordinate drop-off with the nominator or trusted adult, making the process simple and stress-free. A beautiful birthday cake is delivered, bringing sweetness, dignity, and celebration to a deserving child’s big day.
